During his years at Fries Production, John worked across the full spectrum of television and feature films, contributing to projects ranging from Ambush Murders starring Alfre Woodard to the memorable comedy Carpool, among others.

Immersed in every layer of production, he developed into a true nuts-and-bolts operator. Fries ultimately gravitated toward the financial architecture of filmmaking, channelling his on-set experience into a focused pursuit of the business side of film.

John Fries brings more than four decades of diverse experience spanning finance, investment, and marketing. Fries led national and regional marketing initiatives for major communications companies. His work in large -cap corporate environments has focused on developing brand strategy, driving consumer engagement, and overseeing multimillion-dollar campaigns that strengthened market presence and customer loyalty. With his ability to blend analytical precision with creative vision, John has built a career at the intersection of business growth and brand impact, earning a reputation as a results-driven strategist.

Additionally, for over 20 years, Fries served in the financial sector, managing portfolios exceeding one billion dollars for a private global investment firm. His leadership and strategic insight helped drive growth and stability across international markets. He oversaw complex investment structures and advised high-net-worth clients, honing his skills by navigating changing market dynamics and economic cycles.

John has successfully translated his financial expertise into the world of filmmaking at a time when the industry urgently needs professionals with strong financial discipline.
